We want to share with you some of the ways that we’re altering our life together in light of the current information regarding COVID-19.
All church programs and outside groups that are currently on our church calendar should be assumed to be canceled unless you hear something different directly from the leader of that group.
The following prayer is found in the Book of Common Prayer, p219. Consider printing and posting this prayer somewhere you might see it on a daily basis.
Almighty God, you alone can bring into order the unruly wills and affections of sinners: Grant your people grace to love what you command and desire what you promise; that, among the swift and varied changes of the world, our hearts may surely there be fixed where true joys are to be found; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
During her sermon on May 24th, Mother Whitney called on us to ask ourselves, “How can God call us into taking steps to assist our country in the love and care of the least of these, as instructed by our Savior”?
