FCC Worship Band

The FCC Worship Band got its start back in 2007, when Chris Anderson, a member of First Congregational Church of Ridgefield, encouraged his eldest son and a handful of high school musicians going through Confirmation together to start a band. Starting with one-off performances at FCC Ridgefield church events, the band now performs monthly as part of the regular Sunday morning worship services. Despite many of the band members having grown up, moved away, and even started their own solo careers, the band remains steadfast and has evolved into a unique blend of old and new members, particularly FCC’s music ministry interns who are students at Western Connecticut State University. The band has a versatile sound performing bluegrass, pop, and contemporary worship songs. Some of its influences include Chris Tomlin, Laura Story, and Francesca Battistelli.

The band is currently comprised of:
Chris Anderson – guitar
Nicole Gibson – vocals
Emily Lutz – vocals and keyboard
Edwin Rodriguez – vocals and keyboard
Nicole Salamon – vocals
Austin Scelzo – vocals and violin

They are honored and excited to be a part of this community worship event!
